Mural paintings

are executed directly on the wall or ceiling. These can be painted in a wide variety of styles, from abstract to highly realistic and in many different ways, using oil or water-based paints.

A distinguishing characteristic of mural painting is that the architectural elements of the given space are harmoniously incorporated into the picture. A good example of this is a car which we painted over a cupboard door at Band of Burgers restaurant. The cupboard door handles have transformed into car handles.

In creating exceptional murals we often use an art technique called trompe-l'œil which gives the illusion that the depicted scene or object exists in three dimensions. This has the capacity to totally transform a space and make it appear larger.
